​✨ How to Apply Your Vinyl Decal

Follow these easy steps to add your new vinyl decal to your item — whether it’s a jar, cup, mirror, or any other smooth surface!

🧼 Step 1: Prepare Your Surface

• Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and smooth.

• Wipe with a little rubbing alcohol or warm soapy water to remove dust and oils.

• Dry completely — any moisture or dust can stop the vinyl from sticking.

✂️ Step 2: Prepare Your Decal

• Your decal comes with three layers:

• Backing paper (white )

• Vinyl design (your chosen word or phrase)

• Transfer tape (clear sheet on top- sometimes with blue squares on)

• Use a bank card or scraper to rub over the top of the transfer tape. This helps the vinyl stick to it before you peel it of

 

🖐️ Step 3: Peel & Place

• Slowly peel away the backing paper, making sure the vinyl design sticks to the clear transfer tape.

• If a piece doesn’t lift, press it back down and rub again gently with your card.

• Carefully position your decal on your item — once it touches the surface, it may be hard to move.

💫 Step 4: Stick It Down

• Once you’re happy with the placement, rub over the design firmly with your card or fingers to help it stick.

• Slowly peel off the transfer tape, leaving just your vinyl design behind.

• Go slowly and press down any edges that lift.

🕒 Step 5: Let It Set

• Leave your item for 24 hours before using or washing to allow the vinyl to fully adhere.

• Hand wash only — do not soak or scrub over the design.
